JESUS CHRIST
– VERSUS – THE DIVIDED CHURCH
Christ is not divided
– But we are.
The Father and Son are of
one mind – We are not.
Christ’s work is
gathering His flock – Our work is
scattering His flock.
He wants us working with
Him – We are working against Him.
Christ told us to pray to
the Father, “Thy will be done.” His
will is ONE flock – We have created two
hundred churches. Our will is being done!
Which god really wants
division? – Whose will is really being
done?
The Holy Spirit tells us Christ will gather together into ONE, all the children of God. Christ is going to make everyone who truly believes
they are one of His confront this KEY ISSUE. We are either His or we’re not! We either gather with Him or we scatter. There’s no middle ground according to the Holy
Spirit. In our present scattered, divided
condition, we are clearly against Him. It is
imperative we become a part of the solution or suffer the consequences. We are all without excuse.
Division is a disgrace according to Christ’s sayings. Because of it kingdoms become desolate and houses
fall. Each passing day the family of God grows
farther apart. What does this say to those of
us who close our eyes to it? To those who say;
our divided condition is of God? Or those who
enjoy, promote, or profit from our divided condition?
If Christ isn’t divided, why are we?
Who are we following?
Christ instructed His leaders to; “feed my sheep.” Our leaders read it; “fleece my sheep,”
and we approve of them. We have heaped up for
ourselves teachers who tell us what we want to hear. They
ignore this single KEY ISSUE. How can any true
Christian condone scattering? They can’t!
As of today the vast majority remains
unwilling, or very reluctant, to address our condition.
We cannot continue our division. This
single issue is the measuring rod of the temple of God.
Do we want what God and Christ want – ONE flock?
“How long are we going to waver between two opinions?” Either division is abominable, or division is OK
– which is it?
What can we do? The
Holy Spirit tells us Christ will remain in heaven until we repent of our rebellion against
His will. It’s time to repent and start
gathering with Christ in accordance with His will. This
doesn’t mean gather more prospective Christians into a divided, confused,
dysfunctional body, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine; it
means gather His scattered sheep back into ONE
Body! How about you? Are you ready to help Him? The harvest is fast approaching.
“He who has an
ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to us.”
